Sizing Guide

Bracelets

Our bracelet measurements are given as the Total Inside Circumference, which is equal to the combined measurement of the silver and the gap/opening.

The bracelet's width is measured at the widest point of the cuff, usually at the center. The width is the axis that runs from your hand to your elbow.

To determine your wrist size:

Optimally, use a soft tape measure (the type seamstresses use) and run it around your wrist over the top of your wrist bone. If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can also use a strip of paper cut to around 1" wide, then mark it for measurement with a straight ruler or tape measure. The tape or paper should wrap around your wrist in such a way that it just contacts the skin without being too tight or loose. This is your wrist size and should be used to compare the sizes listed on the website (listed as the "Total, Including Opening" on the listings). Optimally, the measurement of the bracelet should match the size of your wrist, though many bracelets can be adjusted to increase or decrease the opening.

Please note that the wider the bracelet, the larger it should be to accommodate the wrist bone or wider parts of the wrist.

Rings

When shopping for rings online, it's essential that you know your accurate ring size. This will ensure the ring you love fits like a charm. Discovering your ring size can be as simple as heading to your local jeweler and having your finger measured, but there are also another easy way to assess your ring size at home.

String Ring Sizer

  1. Take a piece of string, ribbon, thread, or a thin strip of paper and wrap it around your finger, close to the knuckle.

  2. With a pen, carefully mark the spot where the string overlaps with its end and either hold it up to a ruler that has millimeter measurements, or to the graphic below.

  3. Use the chart to determine your ring size.

Earrings

Earring measurements are given as length and width. The length will include the hook where applicable, and is measured from the very top of the hook to the lowest point of the earring. The width is measured at the widest point.

Necklaces

Women's Standard Necklace Sizes

14" Necklace - Fits most like a choker

16" Necklace - Falls perfectly around the base of the neck like a collar. On a petite woman it will hit your collarbone while for plus size women it might feel more like a choker.

18" Necklace - A common choice for women that will fall just below the throat at the collarbone. This length is popular for adding pendants which will hang over a crew neck.

20" Necklace - Will fall a few inches below the collarbone and allow a little more breathing room. Perfect for a low, plunging neckline or if you want to wear it over a turtleneck.

22" Necklace - Falls at or above a low neckline.

24" Necklace - Falls below any neckline.

36" Necklace - Common with pearl strands and will hang below the bosom. They can be worn as a single strand or you can double them for an 18 inch necklace.

Men's Standard Necklace Sizes

18" Necklace - A shorter length that falls just around the base of the neck. Popular for beaded necklaces so they can sit above a crew neck t-shirt.

20" Necklace - A common length for men which falls right at the collarbone. Pendants will hide under a crew neck or show completely with a low v-neck or unbuttoned dress shirt.

22" Necklace - Falls a few inches below a collar bone and can be worn over or under a shirt. This is a common length for chains because they offer more breathing room.

24" Necklace - Extra long and is commonly used to keep religious or meaningful pendants under the shirt and closer to the heart. Falls just above the sternum.

*Please keep in mind that these are all approximations for an average woman’s or man’s height and size. Larger people will need longer lengths and petite ones will need shorter lengths.
